And still in the shop, the fourth album of Shazz "Beautiful". A perfect landing in the love-struck country of ultra-sensitive pop. The beat and sound give an idea of the highly polished, calculated terrain of this new creative venture for a man who was a pioneer and scout in the world of electronic music with his first partner Saint Germain (Soofle, Nuage, ...) and many collaborations (Mirwais, Julien Jabre, Laurent Garnier...) and remixes (Bjork, Deep Forrest, ...). Shazz has always tended towards the melodic and slightly melancholic side of the genre, which is far too readily associated with partying and infinite, hypnotic, robotic invention. Voices too were needed to convey the direction and meanings of Shazz inspiration. Deborah Parker and Nancy Danino had the voices that Shazz had always been searching for. With this album, Shazz bring you to an intense trip to the trembling delights of soul and R&B.

Quelque part, dans le monde de la house francaise, il y a un espace reserve, celui de Shazz. L histoire de Shazz est intrinsequement parallele a celle de l apparition de la house en France avec ses collaboration avec Saint Germain (Soofle, Nuage, ..) ou Mirwais ou encore avec ses nombreux remixs (Bjork, Deep Forrest, ..). Aujourdhui, ces disques representent la fondation de la house francaise, des disques incroyablement bien produits, qui n ont pas pris une ride et qui restent, a certains egards, le secret cache de la musique hexagonale. Pour "Beautiful" son quatrieme opus, Shazz reussi un atterrissage tout en douceur dans la contree amoureuse d une pop ultra sensible grace aux voix magiques de Deborah Parker et de Nancy Danino. Une aventure qui nous emporte vers des moments de pure emotion musicale.
