About Me

What's up world? This is PJ, Papa, Papa Josh of many walks of life. By day, I work as a corporate and special events sales manager for STUDIO MOVIE GRILL. I am an avid supporter of the local indie film scene and a strong advocate for independent film across the board. I book films for special engagements, which has brought me in contact with many wonderful people. If you have a project you would like to present at the optimal level, you need to contact me.I also co-host MSRCAST, a weekly metal music podcast on Metal Injection Radio, which is found at www.metalinjection.net/radio and you can visit our myspace page at www.myspace.com/msrcastFurthering the movement. A huge lover of music, pretty much since birth.

A classic Ralph Bakshi film, see it all right here! 10 Chapters, enjoy.

My Interests

See above.

I'd like to meet:

People into music, film, politics, real life.

Music:

Very much into music. Period. Too broad to even begin to list here, from rap to metal, from cock rock to old school classics, etc. and so on. But, like I said, I co-host MSRCAST, have dedicated a huge portion of my life to metal music and discovered that I loved rap the first time I heard Ice-T's The Iceberg:Freedom Of Speech... Just Watch What You Say back when it came out.
This eventually led me to create GNT, to share in my love of urban/rap music, while MSRCAST shows my other side of metal in all forms, death, black, thrash, power, etc.
As far as drummer influences, my main ones would be John Bonham, Neil Peart, Mick Fleetwood, Tommy Lee, Lars Ulrich, Dave Lombardo, Jerry Gaskill and Fenriz.

Movies:

Troma films, porn, old school horror slasher films, 80's brat pack movies.

Television:

Big fan of 24, that show is pretty damn addictive. Still watch the Law & Order shows, including the SVU and Criminal Intent series. Like Boston Legal, James Spader is one of my faves and he and William Shatner are great. Gonna hate to see West Wing go..... Jackass, Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Hogan Knows Best.... Miami Vice re-runs!!Probably watch too much cable news tv.... enjoy Bill Maher's show on HBO.Enough about the Idiot Box.

Books:

Whatever catches my interest at the time. Currently reading Stephen King's Night Shift again.

Heroes:

Heroes Die Young.

Replaced the Cambo this weekend... Got a 97 Mazda 626, kind of a merlot wine color, it has a sunroof, all of the power windows work, pretty happy with it so far.
