It’s one thing to say or write what you are thinking or feeling - but the manipulation of colour, texture and light adds a whole new dimension.There is an infinite combination of colours and textures that can be added to a canvas. It is possible to paint about something that you see, hear, touch, smell or taste.We have been taught all our lives to speak and write about what we observe, but it’s an extra exercise for your brain when you paint sounds or smells.This is the basis for my paintings and photos.
