I'm here! I've been a musician most of my life. Playing gospel,country western, swing,some jazz and variables of rock music....I have played professionally for atleast 35 of the 45 years i've been here on earth.I started out with drums in my dad's(Dick Polk and the Country Drifter's)band full time at 11 years old at the '74 Club in Plainview Texas. my first gig was at the Palm Room in Plainview in 1969 with the likes of Charlie Branscum Charlie Jacobs.My next big gig was in Bennington Olkahoma-Homecoming Street Dance 1969 with our Family's band in cluding my uncle the late Hampton Polk cousins Hershell,James,Tony Page all of Boswell Oklahoma Hershell- being MY biggest infulence on drums. I played every chance they would let me. Our family is nothing but musicians Cousin Virgil Ward was a national flat top bluegrass picker that played with Bill Grant out of Hugo Oklahoma.While playing .....TO BE CONTIUED
