He and the band are currently based out of Lubbock, TX where they perform all over Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. They have seared together a combination of Country and Western with Classic Rock to bring a sound that packs dance floors and bars where ever they play.Growing up some of John’s influences were George Jones, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. After he moved to Texas in 1997, he attended South Plains College in Levelland, TX, where he was introduced to what is now known as Red Dirt Country. John quickly reformed his musical style to reflect some of his more modern influences such as Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Charlie Robison and Robert Earl Keen.Although it is evident you can hear this influential background in each song John originated, the passion and soul that pours into his music and out of his guitar make these songs clearly his own. John’s music is an explicit blend of old and new that will capture your heart, put a smile on your face and a tap in your toe.
