Freaking Out the Squares Since 1963

About Me

I am your average all-American homosexual occultist ex-acidhead pornographer. I also cohost a radio show called Psychoacoustics every Thursday night from 8PM to 11PM Central Time on WORT 89.9 FM . (Click on the Listen Live link on WORT's website to tune in, or click on Archives/Podcasts and then scroll down to Psychoacoustics to listen to archived shows.) The goal of our show is to warp impressionable young minds and provide amusement and enlightenment for more ossified older ones, not to mention hastening the end of the world and fomenting the Third American Revolution (yes, in that order). We play new and/or unusual rock and/or whatever the hell we feel like playing, occasionally pausing our musical barrage to wax rhapsodic about whatever pleasures or outrages make us feel waxy. You can check out past playlists, and even correspond with my cohosts and me, at psychoacoustics.blogspot.com .
I'm the kind of guy your mother didn't even know existed, though if she met me, she'd be charmed, I'm sure.
More specific or inferential stuff about me can be gleaned from the listings to the left. (Is that like listing to port?) You can always write me and ask questions to confirm or dispel any suspicions you may have. Chances are you're absolutely correct.
My head may be in the clouds, but my feet are on the ground...unless you can sweep me off them.

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to encounter cool people of all races, creeds, colors, and genders. If you think, live, work, and emote outside of the box, that's great; if you have projected yourself out of three-dimensional reality, all the better. Surprise me and I'll do my best to return the favor.
To be more brief, if more roundabout, I would like to meet the sorts of people for whom I am the sort of thing they like.
