Influences: my rummage sales which are really just very low priced rent a friend sessions where people find someone to talk to. going to see an awesome band from another country that is playing in madison and only 15 people are there. the most retarded out of date out of the loop "music" write ups in the isthmus. accidentally seeing the uw madison band concert on pbs and wanting to kill myself. watching all the little shops in madison open and shut down within a year. incredible questions from relatives like "why don't you book a show at alpine? lots of people go there". incestuous madison's small town drama. white kids in their 20's that think their life is hard. bands that do covers like "johnny be good" and all the freaks that get excited and dance to it.
fyi. i am not angry or bitter in any way. i am a friendly happy chap that enjoys observing this town and reacts with a smile and a head shake. notice i still live here. it's a hoot.
