About Me

Criminal Records is a London based independent label and we host a massive heap of acts on our books. We currently have releases in stores across the UK including our 19 track compilation release 'The Criminal Sessions'. It doesn't stop there either - we put loads of London gigs and are looking for new bands all the time. We represent fully for the independent basement rock scene.

If you are in a band we want to hear what you do. We aren't accepting demos at present but we do listen to MP3s & check out EPKs. Please email us at [email protected] and we will check them out - no mailing lists though, as these land in our junkmail! Please don't send links or messages here on myspace! My Interests

We love listening to good music... as we are looking out for new bands, you can always drop us an email to [email protected] with links to online tracks or an EPK. We enjoy going to gigs too, and we promote our own events in London where we can enjoy drinking and watching cool bands surrounded by our fellow crims.

Music:

God is in the TV Review: 'The Criminal Sessions' 4/5 Benjamin Short
"the UK ’s most exciting, visionary and eclectic new record label"

Joyzine Review: 'The Criminal Sessions'. Ian Viggars
"Criminal Records are found guilty of possession of class-A tunes, with intent to supply"

TrakMARX Review: The Criminal Sessions by Evan Halshaw
"Criminal Records, according to their website, is the UK's fastest growing independent record label. They've certainly got enough bands to back this claim up as nineteen of them appear on their new compilation the Criminal Sessions, and happily more than half of these tracks are worthy of your attention.

Criminal records have got some interesting acts under their wing (and they're still looking for more, check out their site), and it'd probably only take one breakthrough band to get them the level of attention and acclaim they deserve."
