Life From Sothis

So here we are, a beginning of a new chapter. Miles were covered and thoughts were crossed until a new aperture in idealism was born.Hailing from the UK, Life From Sothis was born in early 2008 with one man, his guitar, pro-tools and love. He decided on embarking into a passion that he felt was bottled up due to hindering commitments musically. With ideas flowing, Life from Sothis is composing music with a personal bases. Visual elements that will challenge the listeners brains, ideas, memories and emotions, cognitively motivating them in any direction but with one goal in mind….. to make one fall in love with the music.With concerto based ideas, pure intimacy and colossal walls of sound, Life From Sothis explode their music into the heavens. Travelling with this, harmonised guitars play every note like it means life or death. Bass guitar with its deepened supremacy and powerful hardcore drumming style, Life From Sothis clearly cannot be branded in any genre, but if needed be it could be described as and ambient wall of endless opportunity for the listener.Due to the vastness of Life From Sothis, and the scenarios it describes they venture into any direction with great strength. Dropped chords exploding into life at the prolific moment crescendo until pure nothingness reflects another part of the story.Life From Sothis as they are completely instrumental provide a preface, a scenario,photography, art, words, sentances or poetry. With these creative works, however long they maybe, it is then down to the listener to either envisage these ideas or to put it into their own world.Either way the music can tell the story and draw one into something that they may not have ever discovered…….As this is a new project James has been working on it solely covering all guitar and bass parts, recording everything in a bedroom studio in Central London. As these recordings are the demos they have been recorded using pro-tools (hence the midi drums). James is now looking for muso’s who maybe interested in this new epic journey they would like to embark on. Life from Sothis requires two further guitarists, a bass and a drummer to join and creative beautiful music that makes people cry and unleash all their emotions ending either past memories or opening new doors.If your interested then please send a message and lets have a laugh and get on it.
