“The time couldn't be more right for this mighty five-piece; part 'The Seldom Seen Kid', part Six By Seven, part 'X&Y', part Hope Of The States post-rock mayhem, they're thrillingly left-field while still immensely commercial, melody-wise.â€
Mark Beaumont, nme.com, 17th September 2008
Hugely anthemic, and drawing comparison to everyone from Death Cab For Cutie to Elbow, the release of Prego’s ‘Cause & Resolve’ single earlier this summer saw the band become hotly tipped, rocketing to the attention of Steve Lamacq, and NME’s Radar Buzz pages. One of the most talked about new bands at this year’s O2 Wireless Festival, Prego also featured in Rocksound magazine's Hot 100.
Prego follow-up 'Cause and Resolve' with a new single ‘Answers’ on Monday 24th November – joining The Stills for UK dates before going into the studio with producer Guy Massey (Manics, Spirtualized, Idlewild) to begin work on their debut.
