Reasonably obscure pop culture (tv, B-movies, unusual or vastly overlooked but cool rock bands and so on). Mostly a whole lot of useless crap.

Box of Moonlight (w/John Turturro and Sam Rockwell) - Career Opportunities (w/ Frank Whaley & Jennifer Connelly) - Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (Sam Rockwell is COOL) - Eternal Sunshine (Charlie Kauffman Rocks) - the Fifth Element (Milla Jovovich should have my baby) - Fifty First Dates (Drew Barrymore too) - L.A. Story - Anything Farelly - almost anything PIXAR - tons of epic adventure films (YES, I dig Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia , etc.) - Shrek 1 and 2 - Stand by Me - 12 Monkeys - Goodfellas and Casino too. So many I can't think of them all now, thanks.
Simpsons - KING OF THE HILL - Family Guy - American Dad -Mythbusters - you know, stuff on channels like Discovery - A&E - the USA network like MONK - biography and SHARK WEEK (when it's not 3 year old reruns). Oh, and did I mention the LONE GUNMEN - BRIMSTONE - and Millenium too (all RIP)?
Currently: Look Homeward, Angel - by Thomas Wolfe , and An American Dream - by Norman Mailer . Typically, I love short stories (and some novels too) - quirky fiction or serious lit, a little Sci Fi and some little horror , D and D style Fantasy , mythology and the like... you know. I try to branch out and feed my brain with stuff sometimes. Some Faves include Joe R. Lansdale - Tom Robbins - Hunter S. Thompson - Kinky Friedman - Barry Wood - THEODORE STURGEON - and generally people like that.
My Dad - Philip Lynott - Hemingway - Kerouac - Hunter S. - Alice Cooper - Mark Twain and probably some others that aren't occurring to me at the moment.
