Welcome to the RJ Jukes Music site. I started this page has a way to post some of the music I have recorded through the past 30 years.
It covers just about everything you can imagine ... from country to hard rock recording sessions ... to my sampling loop tracks and just plain ole goofin' about with my friends and fellow musicians.
I hope ya enjoy some of what you see and hear here. Most of the recordings have ablogs to match them which give a lil more details on the session. Also I try to leave a summary of information in the lyric section of the player.
Also, I generally carry a camera with me on all my road gigs, so ya may wanna take a gander at the photos section of this page. It's divided by bands, projects, and such.
ya may recogonize a few faces in there.
So take your coat off ... throw it in the corner and sit a spell.
Please leave some type of input if your so inclined.
I currently reside onna farm ... wear farmer boots, drive farmer trucks, and pretty much keep to myself, my family, my piano, guitar, or whatever assorted instrument passes through my door. Although I still go out within a 200 - 300 mile raduis and play weekly shows are sessions. I don't travel the roads as much as the old days ... but ya never know ?
If your so inclined, I would be glad ta provide dates and and tymes. I also have the ability to multi track online and record, over dub, and mix online right here from the owl Farm South Those interested in booking sessions and so forth ... drop me a line. Until we meet ... hope you enjoy your stay here on my site. If ya want ta see a more social butterfly type Jukes ... head on over to my other site ... on my friends list it's the first one. Lotsa fun & games over there too !!!Ya'll come back now ... ya hear ???
Gary Busey, Issac Hayes, Johnny Depp, Rock City Angels, Axl Rose, Wynonna, Backflash, Elam McKnight & the West Levee Phantoms, Loaded Goat, Jimmy Page, Tanya Tucker, Jason D Williams, James Burton, Fatman & the Manaics, Billy Ray Cirrus, Beale Street Blues Band, Jimmy Wolf, Mojo Buford, Son of Slam, Kevin Bacon, ... these are a few of the artists I have drummed behind in my musical past.
Now before you get to far into this ... please realize that I paid more attention in marching band than I did in English 101, so try to look over my typos, run on sentences, and GOD forbid ... dangling modifiers ! With that said throw your coat in the corner, kick off your shoes n' sit a spell and thanx for droppin' in and monkeying around.
