Band Members: I have a new record! BEAGLES The Blue Album is here. The cd is a collection of demos recorded at home on a Yamaha AW16G. I played all the instruments and sang all vocals. My old Fender Deluxe, an old sm57 and 58, my guitars and beer. The tracks are played to simple drum loops, but the tamborine is me. The songs and the way I approached recording them reminded me of old Beatles and Eagles albums and so the project became BEAGLES. A fun look behind the curtain.Campfire Songs has Harry Peel on drums, Dave Smith on bass, David Cochran does the upright bass stuff and TBone played bass on one. I'm playing most of the guitars, along with Jack Holder, Alvin Youngblood Hart and TBone adding here and there. And of course all the fiddle and mandolin is TBone. Jim Dickinson added piano and harmonium. Richard Bailey does the banjo. Cowboy Eddie Long on steel guitar. The background vocals are pretty much all me with Becky(Reba) Russell and Jack doing a couple, Rain and Lonely. Then Laura Burroughs sang along with her brother TBone on Cumberland Plateau. Susan Marshall on Death Ridge. And the RiverBluff Clan closes out on Against the Grain, Harry drums, Tony Sneed bass, TBone guitar and Richard Ford on steel! Dawn Hopkins engineered and mixed on analog tape the way God meant for it to be.
