Silky Muddflapp has spent 30 years on the road, traveling the world playing honky tonks to playing for royalty and presidents! is now at home recording self penned songs and a couple of classic rockabilly songs for his own pleasure. just give him a 24 track recorder and a house full of instruments all alone and thats when he is happiest these days, although the ol' road still calls his name, he listens, and the road calls most everyday. he figures to have traveled more than a million miles on the road, and thats just on tour buses! not counting all those international flights! playing with or opening up for such artists as..... Alabama,Issac Hayes, Billy Ray Cyrus,George Jones,Rufus Thomas,Kevin Bacon,Charlie Daniels,Wynona,Tanya Tucker,David Keith, Michael Mcdonald,Jerry Lee Lewis, Jason D. Williams, Mickey Gilley, James Burton,Dr.Hook,Lee Greenwood, Crystal Gale,Ray Charles, Blood Sweat and Tears, Eddie Money, the Oak Ridge Boys,Temptations,Drifters,Hagar twins, Roy Clark....... and the list goes on! not counting his own projects which he played the {utility man} guitar , fiddle , mandolin, pedal steel, keyboards,dobro, banjo, harmonica and vocals! but his primary instrument is guitar, his first love, and has a wide range of guitar heroes.
