Born on the eve of a New years 05 a "lets just hit stuff and drink magic juice" jam was
quite a successful one in the fact that best friend and family friend Alfred Grant held a nice
little new years party hosted by the parents Dave an Paula Brown, young Samuel
(Higgy) comes round for a bite of cheese and meets Amy Grant (Ztix) who's room is
no bigger than where Elton John keeps his old G-strings. In the corner sits a beat up
drum kit with barely any skins and cymbals, Higgy picks up a bass thats led on
the floor with the traces of last new years dinner still left on the body,
runs through a 10-watt beat up guitar amp that rings out a high pitched squeel
when not played, then jam out some simple licks fed with a bit of White Stripes
and some of Higgy's favourite Black Keys riffs, as the clear set up involves a two
piece. Without limitations and added Amy juice these guys make a hell of a noise as
the downstairs party are left with stilton all over the carpet..
This No limitation had driven the guys (Ztix is a Female) on with that same freedom at the
Access to Music Project, in which Dave and Paula ran off their own backs with an old friend
Roger, this helped younger musicians to get together and also play with some
experienced but shy adults at the time who were not lucky enough to have such good social and healthy lives.
A.M.P fest 05, this saw a day of music hosted at Poole Lighthouse with the people of Poole
all around as A.M.P fest was a great success run again of the backs of
Paula and Dave Brown with help from some great friends.
This day saw Higgy and Ztix filling in a 20 minute set as Higgy's current band couldn't
make the festival that day, they played a half decent set and impressed a fair few.
Now believing in themselves a bit more under the name Multicoloured Green, (thats a whole different story)
They continue to display their love for the dirty rock n roll
Higgy and Ztix still today have achieved more than ever expected and now have an even
stronger growing dream. They keep playing their stripped down, dirty rock n roll consisting
of blues driving riffs and just F***ing mental drums.....had to explain it some way...
Love to play, live to Love, and play what they want and how they want. Peace
