Matt - Editor of Rant Magazine, follower of local music scene and and all-round jolly chap. Likes: the good 10% of every genre from battle metal to intelligent pop, wii golf and anything Rant-flavoured. Dislikes: Coco-pops, with a passion. Favourite colour: Purple. Shoe size: 9.
Hannah - Rant writer, Portsmouth High student, acting superstar. Likes: Indie music, showcasing local talent, Petersfield Youth Theatre and watching rugby. Dislikes: people stealing her seat on the train and people who don't like RANT. Favourite colour: Pink. Shoe size: 7.
Dan - Rant writer, script-writer, full-time hobo. Likes: The Juliana Theory, Switchfoot, travelling and film. Dislikes: people who never watch where they're going and then turn around to say "sorry, babe". Favourite colour: Purple. Shoe size: 9 (and a half).
Emma - Rant writer, Southdowns student and aspiring world-dominating journo. Likes: McFly, SOD, Bowling for Soup, sweets (though not dark chocolate - bleurgh) and watching re-runs of old TV shows. Dislikes: Carrying giant text books. Favourite colour: Hot pink. Shoe size: 6.
Influences: Youth programming draws up horrible images of government agencies using a 'Z' where an 'S' should be. Why? Because they think they're down wiv da kidZ. Obviously. We're inspired by the principles of being down-to-earth, straight-talking, intelligent, creative and aspirational.
Musically we're an open book, and we mean that. We are not guided by a playlist like all commercial stations so you won't hear the same song over and over again until you feeling like punching yourself in the face. Indie? Yes. Rock? Yes. Metal? Yes. Pop? Yes. Jazz? Yes. Blues? Yes. If you want to influence the play-list get in touch and we'll satisfy you aural needs.
