Throughout my career I've placed in screenwriting awards, including winner of the Haringey Film Award (2007), semi-finalist in The British Screenplay competition (2006), final shortlists for UKFC funding in London/ Midlands (2006), nine Top Screenplays on Coppola's Zoetrope (2005-2001), Winner of The Times award to attend the National Academy Of Writing (2003), Winner of Raindance Live Ammunition (2003), top ten on Kevin Spacey's Triggerstreet (2003) and final shortlist (18 from 2000) in the Lloyds Bank Film Challenge (1993). My theatre and radio works have been short-listed three times for the Woolwich Radio Playwrights Award (1996-7), shortlisted at the 11th Playwriting Festival (Warehouse, 1996), finalist at the International Playscript Competition (1995), and winner of the London Playwright Of Year (1992). I was also the judge/ mentor for the Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award (iEMMYS, New York, 2003-6).
