Open to residents of the US, UK and Canada, each contestant will have an opportunity to compete for a prize package that includes an internship with Academy Award® Winner David Parfitt (Shakespeare in Love) on the UK set of his latest production.
The Breakout Filmmaker Competition challenges aspiring directors to create and submit a compelling short film in one of several genres and will involve the weekly selection of 3 finalists by the online audience. Learn more

A 1-Week, All-Expenses Paid Trip to the United Kingdom in 2008
2nd Place
Since this individual came so close but still behind we’ve decided that to award this filmmaker with a US $1,000 prize.
3rd Place
Because we understand the effort on making these short films we would also like to award the person who made it this far with US $500.
