I've been an actress, a singer, a recording engineer, a director, a producer and a writer.Having bitten off far more than I could chew, I decided to devote my time to what I love most ... writing.Here's my bio ... Writing has been a passion for Jacqueline Ashear since 1992.She has completed five screenplays: "B. YOTCH IS BACK!", "THE PRINCE OF STARS", "HOLIDAY", "WELCOME TO BLISS" and, "A FORK IN THE ROAD". Jacqueline is currently working on her sixth screenplay entitled, "GREETINGS FROM SHWICKY".Her scripts, "B. YOTCH IS BACK!" and "THE PRINCE OF STARS" were both the top rated scripts on Kevin Spacey's TRIGGERSTREET site."THE PRINCE OF STARS" was optioned and sold, but due to funding problems, the script has since reverted back to her.Additionally, Jacqueline has written/directed/produced three Off-Broadway plays, "INTERMISSION", "HELL'S KITCHEN" and "KIDS ARE STEALING JESUS". Regarding "Hell's Kitchen," The Village Voice raved, "Wildly funny! A true New York moment." Her one-act comedy "The Devil's Panties" had successful runs at Carolines Comedy Club in NY and The Tribeca Film Center also in NY. She also wrote, directed and produced the annual Carolines Comedy Club Christmas Film for five consecutive years.Jacqueline's half-hour comedy TV show "The Big Fat Show" aired on Time Warner in New York City and was broadcast for six months. Additionally, she has written numerous comedy sketches and recently polished a half-hour sit-com, "Love Bites", about an off-beat New York Italian family who runs a catering business.Jacqueline studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in NY for two years and in 2006 studied in NY with The Upright Citizen's Brigade.Jacqueline's contact info can be found at, GETMETHEWRITER.COM.
