Hello I’m Mr. Mike. I live in the San Fernando Valley USA. These are my songs. You could call my music poppy. I grew up listening to poppy stuff, so I guess it rubbed off on me. People always ask the question, "what’s your music like?". Now, as a songwriter, I don’t believe there’s a harder question to answer than that. I don’t know why it’s such a hard question. I mean all I have to do is describe my music. I guess you could call it indie rock, whatever that term means these days. I like to call it Epic Garage Pop. It’s Epic because I use big harmonies and love that huge wall of sound vibe. The word Garage is perfect because I recorded it in a Garage. The album kind of has a Low-Fi 60’s throw back quality that I really dig. The Pop is my ode to bands like The Beatles, The Beach Boys or anything else catchy that sticks in your head. I LOVE catchy stuff. So I guess in a nutshell that’s what my music is all about. I’ve been playing music since I was about 9. Everyday I get excited about playing. I feel it centers me. If you have read this far, hopefully one of the tunes has better explained my rant. I love you.
