I am 37 years young and have a beautiful, loving wife and a great family. Our lives are about to change as we are expecting a baby boy in march! We feel blessed about that and a few other changes coming our way as well. I will be changing jobs and hopefully attending the Austin Police Academy sometime in march or june...the exact date is still up in the air. With a career change there will also be another move, back to Austin. We are both extremely excited and feel very Blessed with what the future will bring. I will miss being a Firefighter, but with any luck I may at least be able to keep doing it as a volunteer.As for my Job, I love it, except for a few duties that come with the territory, but that goes with any job!! Whenever I am on "the Box" it really sucks, but on the plus side, where else do you get to do ALL of the things your parents told you not to do?
