Gilda's Club NYC

It's always something!

About Me

Gilda's Club New York City opened its signature red door in 1995 as a place where people touched by any type of cancer, including their families and friends, can come to learn how to live with this change in their lives.
Not affiliated with any religious institution, Gilda's Club New York City offers its services free to anyone who needs it, thanks to the generous friends and corporations who keep the Club open to the public.
No one has to face cancer alone. Here, at this non-residential cancer community - named for Saturday Night Live comedienne, Gilda Radner - users of the Club (we call them Members) are men, women and children. People who join with others to build social and emotional support as an essential complement to their medical care.
Gilda's Club New York City provides a model program of Customized Membership, with support and networking groups, lectures, workshops and social events. All of which take place in a warm, home-like setting and at absolutely no charge to Members.
