About Me

Formed in 2003, Naifu released their first album called "Naughty Pony" two years later. From the start, the band chose the DIY approach, bringing out their professionally recorded albums in hand-made packaging. This earned them praise from artists such as former Crass member Penny Rimbaud. Musically, their influences range from Blonde Redhead to The God Machine, from P.J. Harvey to Neurosis. Dominique's lyrics are uncompromising, with a mixture of sweetness and bitterness, of gentleness and strength, with blurred borderlines. Since 2004, Naifu is part of the Antwerp-based Rarefish collective. their second album called "Pieces of Women" is released on september 1st, 2007.
