Lost Luna was born around 1998, I think, when I started writing songs on my own, but didn't find band mates right away. Lost Luna is still a nice creative outlet so the one-grrrl-noise project continues...

This is who I am:
-name: Nina

-occupations: student, artist, activist (oftewel "kortharig werkloos tuig" ;-))
-interests: riot grrrl, queer theory, feminism, activism (in theory & practice), anarchism, zines, art, films, comics, ecology, animal rights, DIY, being creative, ladyfest, reading, ...
This is what I do:
-I've studied women's studies, visual/graphic art and cultural studies
-I make visual/graphic art, illustrations, drawings, paintings, comics- take a look at this website (not very up to date at the moment).
-I draw portraits on art fairs or on request.
-I write zines and DIY comic books.
-I make craft: crocheting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, dolls, bags, clothes, accessoires/jewelry, patch, etc
-I write + read about feminism, queer theory, activism, music, subculture, DIY, anarchism, craft, art, riot grrrl,...
-I write, play and record music as Lost Luna. I do not intend to perform live as Lost Luna (at this moment). I used to play guitar in D-Konstruxie . Now I'm sort of in a new band.
-I'm a founding member of the Riot Grrrl Collectief . we do actions, make zines, have meetings, spread the feminist word...
-I put out zines and tapes on my DIY mini-label Echo records . There you can find some songs by Lost Luna on feminist compilation tapes. I'm working on a demo tape.
-I enjoy taking part in exhibitions, especially at DIY and/or feminist events such as Ladyfest.
