Moose Factory is a brand new organisation of some decidedly not so new musos specialising in putting on gigs, reviewing, previewing and otherwise commenting on all the strange and wonderful side of music in the UK and elsewhere. Based in London, we mainly cover London, Sheffield and Leeds, but are open to anything that's interesting!
Any artists/bands that wish to be considered for a gig, review, make an announcement, or say anything interesting, get in touch and send a link or send something to the below addresses! All genres accepted, but there must be something a bit odd or different about it.
We would like to put example tracks from the latest reviews on this site, lasting on the site until another six reviews are written, then it would be taken off. Feel free to send any tracks with your request to review if you wish. Also, please let us know if you have any gigs or releases coming up and we'll add it our calendar. Contact us either through Myspace or
email: [email protected]

Live Review: Bad Plus @ Jazz Cafe (29/06/08)

You know it won't be a conventional jazz gig when the opening piece, Stravinsky's Variations d'Apollon, promptly moves into an arrangement of Radiohead's Karma Police. But such is the skill and eclect...

Live Review: L’Orchestre tout puissant Marcel Duchamp

Album Review: Efterklang Parades

According to the modern bible that is Wikipedia, Efterklang is Danish for remembrance and reverberation. Hmm. Let's take that apart a bit: so here we have a nine-piece lush epic post-everything prog-p...
