Viper's Dream are a London based acoustic jazz band. Repertoire ranges across the entire history of jazz, from swing and bebop to latin, bossa nova and original compositions. Special emphasis is on the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli and the Quintet of the Hot Club of France.
Tim Robinson - guitar - is one of the most impressive players on the UK scene specializing in Django’s music.
Patrick Naylor – guitar - plays in a number of different contexts including his own (Soundial) quartet. Their debut album was Jazz CD of the week in the London Evening Standard and in Chrissie Murray’s CDs of the year.
Alex Keen - double bass - has played with many excellent musicians including Tim Whitehead, Theo Travis and the great George Shearing.
Richie Howard - clarinet - winner of the LeBlanc Jazz Clarinettist of the year when he was just 17.
Daniel Teper - accordian - a successful film composer and performer, and inventor of "cheesecore" music.
Sara Mitra - vocals - Â with a fresh and rhythmically vibrant approach to improvisation, she has headlined across Europe with her quartet and is a welcome addition to the Viper's Dream gang.
