About Me

Hi everyone. I have been volunteering at the shelter for almost 3 years now. It all started when I was looking for a companion for my 9 year dog. At the time I didnt know much about animal shelters and one day I saw a news report stating that shelters are full and animals are being put down to make room.

I checked out the closest shelter and what I saw changed my life. The people looking changed me even more. It broke my heart that a lot of these pets didnt even get a second look. People would just walk by the pets that didnt interest them.

Ever since my first visit to the shelter I signed up to become a volunteer. I'll always stop by even if its just handing out snacks and spending just even a little time with these guys

If one person is inspired by this page and ends up visiting shelters then this page was well worth making. So I hope someone out there gets the idea and starts spending time with these guys =)

I basically love all animals and I am a vegetarian. I wont even by fries at McDonalds or any fast food chain because of how they treat animals but thats a whole other page

My Interests

This section is dedicated to the dogs who have died at the hands of human selfishness. These Dogs never got a home. Rest In Peace friends.We are dead at 2 months because our parents couldnt sell us at a parking lot so they dumped us at a pound." People who watch over the little guys are celebrities in my eyes. You guys kick ass =)
