I work with a grassroot organization...Saving Shelter Pets, Inc... to promote awareness to the abundance of wonderful animals in high-kill shelters in need of loving homes. An important part of this effort is to identify those in the greatest need. The second part is getting the word out to rescues and individuals. Trying to save them "one at a time" is my motto. I have been an advocate of spay and neuter awareness and education in an attempt to reduce the amount of discarded and unwanted animals.

One of the goals of this site is to provide a place where needy animals can get exposure and a chance at a life. This will give them that last chance which otherwise could be missed. Thier fate is sealed if the word can not get about about thier plight and location. Many of these animals face a horrible death in gas chambers still in use in many counties and states across the country.

Such a sweet and gentle soul who waited in a shelter for a master who never came. His time ran out. I for one will not forget you Cody and hopefully those who see this won't either.
Please take a moment to remember the faces of other wonderful pets that waited in shelters for someone to love. Sadly, they too ran out of time.
