This page is all about me and my mom. Let me tell you about me. My name is Kiyo (short for Kiyoshi) and I'm a 1yr old pitbull mix (that's my baby picture you see). I came into my family's life from ROCKET DOG RESCUE. They rescued me, my 3 brothers, 1 sister, and our mom from a shelter in Sonora that was going to euthanize all of us because they said our mom was unpredictable. Good news is that we all found homes. I was the first, at 6 weeks, to find a home. When I came home I was so small I wore a cat collar. I now live in a house in San Francisco with my mom and dad and my brother (the 2 legged variety).
I am a happy, silly, affectionate, smart, and very cute(my mom tells me so numerous times a day) pitbull. I have a sensitve tummy and my mom and dad tried at least 6 foods before they found one that not only agreed with me, but that I liked the taste of. I love to sleep on the bed with my mom and dad and sometimes I even sleep under the covers with them. I have a huge fluffy dog bed, but why would I sleep there? I am too far away from my mom and dad if I'm on the floor. I love to get into the garbage and i am especially fond of coffee grounds and toilet paper. I love to chew on plastic bottles and destroy my stuffed animals. Is there anything better than having all that stuffing all over the floor. I love to get in the shower with my mom when she taking a shower. I like to lick water off of her legs. I love my Grandma. She's never been around a pitbull before, but now I don't think she can imagine life without me around. I cuddle with her alot when I see her. I love car rides, especially since it usually means I will get to go to the beach and play fetch with a tennis ball. Did I mention that I really LOVE LOVE LOVE tennis balls. I could play fetch all day long. I love when my mom comes home from work because I love for her to pick me up like she did when I was little. I also love my brother, he wrestles with me all the time and will play ball endlessly with me in our backyard when we can't go for a walk. Did I mention I now weigh 61 pounds, but my mom will still pick me up, that is after I run back and forth through her legs a hundred times so that she has to scratch my butt. My mom just read Marley and Me and I think I alot of it sounded like things I've done. I know my mom loves me regardless of the trouble I get into. I'm not just a dog to her, I'm her other little boy and she would do anything for me.
Hello, my name is Maria and I am the pitbull mom. I am a single mom of 2 boys, my pitbull and a 2 legged variety, a sophomore in high school. I have been with my novio for a long long time.
I know it sounds corny, but I love animals, especially dogs, and most of all my bully. I am a simple and complicated person at the same time. I love gossip magazines, but also read Time, Newsweek, etc. on a regular basis...I love sitcoms and love to watch documentaries, the news and educational shows...I HATE romance novels though, instead of reading about heaving bosoms and engorged manhoods go out and meet someone, but sometimes sappy Hallmark styles commercials will make me cry. My son and I like all kinds of music,anything from bubblegum pop to country, my son even listens to Doo Wop. I love all kinds of movies, but especially love romantic comedies and foreign films...I am funny and serious...introverted and extroverted...even-tempered and hot-tempered(that definitely comes from my dad's side, the latina half). It also would explain my love of makeup (always red lips), jewelry, and the reason I have a booty, hips, and boobs while my mom wears almost no makeup or jewelry and is about a size 2.
I love all things 50's and really want a '57 BelAir convertible, but until then I have my flamed PT Cruiser to drive around in, I love it...I can have one ... I would also like to turn my kitchen into a fifties diner... I love all things pink and black, you can never have too many black clothes or too many hoop earrings. I hate having my picture taken, and yet I would like to have at least one of me and my bully on the page...I love nice clothes, purses, a girly girl alright...I girl can never have too many shoes or purses even though my boyfriend may beg to differ...I almost never get to use my nice stuff since I manage a kennel and go to work in jeans and t-shirts, it's fun to be around the dogs, and I also have a trainer on hand who always can help with any behavior issues I have. One reason I have a friendly bully. I can't stress enough the trainig and socializing to have a happy, healthy, well adjusted bully at home.
I love to laugh and people who make me laugh, especially my novio and son...I hate stupid people...I don't like people who don't like pitbulls...I dislike people who aren't open to learning about pitbulls before they pass judgement on them...I love taking Kiyo to the beach..but also love that he will cuddle with me if I want to take a nap, he loves to get under the covers with me and sleep right next to me...Most of all I just like spending time with my family. Times goes by so fast. I don't want to miss anything when it comes to my family.
