ENTERING:

1. You must be a friend of DOGUE to participate.

2. You may submit 1 photo per contest.

3. To enter, click on the "CLICK TO ENTER PHOTO CONTEST" tile and follow instructions on the photo upload page you are directed to. Contest entries will not be accepted through MySpace email. If you have difficulty with the upload page, please contact us at DOGUE mag.com

4. Please include contest title and pet's name in title field of the entry form and MySpace url in the email field of the form. Entries without this information may not be accepted unless the photo is easily recognizable for the contest you are entering.

5. PHOTO SIZE: Up to 1000x1000 pixels. Thumbnails or blurry photos cannot be accepted. :-(

6. No animated gifs or Photoshopped unless specified for contest.

7. Entries are accepted on first come, first serve basis. We have a limit of 10 entries for each contest and cannot accept further entries. Entries are date/time stamped upon upload.

CONTESTANT RULES:

1. NO asking for votes whether through bulletins, emails, profile page, blog or other form of communication. Friends of contestants may NOT ask for votes either.

2. NO promoting our contests. We will do the promoting along with our sponsors.

3. You may ask others to add DOGUE or visit us in bulletins, etc. however you may not make any mention of current contests, voting or being a contestant in our contests.

4. Contestants who ask for votes are immediately disqualified.

5. NO voting for yourself.

VOTING RULES:

1. You must be a friend of DOGUE to vote.

2. You may vote 3 TIMES per contest unless otherwise specified for specific contest. Your 3 votes must be for the 3 separate photos that you feel are best.

3. Vote by clicking on voting tile shown on DOGUE's profile (which links to the voting page for the contest).

4. Votes are tracked. Please don't attempt to cheat. This will force us to block you from future contest voting.

WINNING:

1. Public votes determine the 3 finalists.

2. An independent panel of non-byist volunteer judges (on and off of myspace and in no way associated with any contestants) will determine the winner from the 3 finalists of each contest. Decision is based on quality of photo and how well the photo depicts the contest title. Judges consist of a professional photographer (who specializes in pet photography), a pet groomer, a well known retailer and others who have been carefully selected by DOGUE.

3. WINNERS ANNOUNCED in MySpace Bulletins and on DOGUE's profile page. Winners will also appear on DOGUEmag.com when the site officially launches late Spring 2007.

PRIZES: Winners will be asked to provide myspace url and pet's name if we do not receive this information with entry. Winners are also asked to email us at DOGUE mag.com with a physical mailing address so that one of our sponsors to send a real prize. No obligation of course.

QUARTERLY GRAND PRIZE: ALL contestants will be entered in our Quarterly Finalist Grand Prize Contest in which the winner receives a prize package from our sponsors! Winner determined by our independent panel of judges.

COVER MODEL RULES:Same as above with the following changes:Our panel of judges will determine 3 finalists and the public will vote to determine the winning cover model. Voting will be limited to ONE vote.PRIZES: Cover Models receive photo on cover, cover story, prize package from our sponsors (including a DOGUE t-shirt, an artist sketched rendering of themselves and other great prizes) AND are featured in DOGUE's 2008 Charity Calendar which will be available for purchase on DOGUEmag.com!
