180 Kick Flip
There are two kinds, FS and BS. Let’s start off with fs flips! Alright, know how to kickflip, fs 180... hardflips help a little too. Set up like a kickflip. For me, I like to have my front foot pointed more forward for fs flips, so yeah. Back foot is pretty much the same.
fs Flip
1) Wind up if you would like to. Winding up helps during those early
stages!
2) Unwind and pop a fs 180 and flick as you would for kickflip. HOWEVER,
your flick should be a little quicker and out of the way faster than for a
kickflip. Also the flick should be more circular than straight away.
3) Watch the board under you and follow it’s motion.
4) Once it finishes it’s flip, catch board and bring ‘er down. Hopefully
your 180 is close to done.
5) Land it and slide to finish the 180 if it ain’t done, or pivot the rest
of the way.
6) Roll away and keep tryin’ until your slide/pivot thing is gone!
1) Well, same as fs flips, wind up to get ya started.
2) Unwind and pop a bs 180 and flick out like a kickflip (big surprise).
The flick is no different from a kickflip so there’s a plus.
3) Watch board under and keep rotatin’. Follow the board’s movements. Be
sure not to lean too far forward or backward while in the air.
4) Catch it and bring ‘er down
5) Land it and roll away, hopefully next time there won’t be any pivots. If
there ain’t pivots this time around, then kudos.
360 flip
1) Pop and scoop the board and at same time, flick out your front foot. Be
sure the pop and scoop is performed in a manner so that the board stays
under you; this will take trial and error.
2) Bring up your legs out of the way of the board’s crazy flippin’.
3) Watch and follow the board’s motion.
4) Once the board is on grip tape side, catch it and bring ‘er done.
5) Land it and roll away.
Impossible Trick Tip
1.) Put your front foot in the middle of your board with your heel hanging off and your back foot on the tail of the board with your toes hanging slightly off of the board.
2) Bend your knees and pop your tail scooping the board around your back foot by pushing back on your toes.
3) Get your front foot out of the way by pulling it up into your chest giving the the board room to rotate around your back foot.
4) Now put your front foot back on the board when you see it again underneath your front foot.
5) Land and roll away
