L'abus de pÃ¢tes nuit au groove....Un giorno Scott E. Brown mi disse: "There's somethin' i've always wanted to tell ya about the groove..." Fece una lunga pausa e, mentre il silenzio si gonfiava dei rumori di Harlem, mi chiesi se mai fosse venuto il momento di scoprire il suo segreto. Finalmente aggiunse : "Abusing pasta damages your groove, son." E fu lâ€™utlima volta che lo vidi. Era a New York, nell'estate 1977.Quando scoprii la sua morte, qualche anno fa, decisi di partire alla ricerca della veritÃ . Andai in Louisiana, a Memphis, a Detroit e poi... New York...
