A BRIEF BIO

Freelance guitarist/oudist who thinks he knows why he forever tries to learn how.
I'm a 27-year-old Finnish freelance guitarist, aspiring oudist and music student. I was born in Rovaniemi, bred traveling back and forth between Lapland, the Middle East and East Africa, but currently live in Helsinki, Finland. Into anything and everything from Paco de Lucia to Pantera - if it comes across as honest, it's all good.
I play in an ever-changing number of bands and projects both to keep myself busy and motivated but also to pay the rent; most of the bands dearest to me are more or less acoustic by nature. I seem to gravitate towards acoustic instruments and world music.
I'm one-third of an acoustic world music ensemble called Unveil , in which I play acoustic guitars and the oud and which I've been composing for as well. The band is currently on slow burn since the three of us are living in both Spain and Finland, but we intend to record and release our original material when the time comes.
As a sideman I've performed with and/or done recording sessions for different artists on the Finnish music scene, including Anna Abreu, Ari Koivunen, Anniina, Annika Eklund, Christian-Charles de Plicque, The Gentleman Losers, Kiuas, Senegalese bass player Ndioba and Pauliina Lerche.
I'm open to any and all interesting projects that I think I can handle and feel I have something to give to.
