Combining a musical mixture of roots, folk, and soul, Lyndsay Wojcik brings a refreshing twist to the often mundane and repetitive styles of the present music industry. Using her savvy lyrical sense, she paints her interpretation of life onto her audience as if they were the wet canvas on which she worked.
Having been raised a Georgia Peach in Atlanta; she was introduced to a wide array of styles and influences anywhere from hip-hop, to folk music, bluegrass, and reggae.
Lyndsay is naturally in tune with her own soulful rhythm, allowing an intimate look into her own perception of the surrounding world. Attending college in the mountains of North Carolina she acquired a love for the simple life, writing many of her songs on her front porch, nestled in the heartbeat of the mountains. She has played at such festivals as Belchere in Asheville North Carolina, WSQL Radio Show in Brevard North Carolina, and Gorges Music Festival where she opened for Edwin McCain. She has also opened for the Reggae band Dub Conscious, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Ralph Roddenbery Band, David Ganz from the Grateful Dead Radio Hour, The Home Grown Band, Sol Driven Train, The Apostles, and Jerry Joseph who wrote many of the songs for Widespread Panic. Lyndsay has recently returned to her mountain roots, and is now living in Asheville N.C.
Her album "Bohemian Solstice" which was released in the fall of 2004 through "Three Trees Studios" in Whites Creek Tennessee is availible on-line by e-mailing [email protected]. It was engineered by Jack Clark, and Jeff Servais of Nashville T.N.
