"I have seen the future of pop music.....
and it is Sun Domingo.
"
***-CFT MAGAZINE***
"This is a serious band to bet on. Perhaps Sun Domingo is the artist to watch. With a full-length CD, lovingly made, top-10 status, even number one, is a strong possibility"
***-intelligentpop.com***
“The band projects rock ‘n’ roll at its finest. It’s stripped down to the bone of any hard-core, in-need-of-anger-management pretense or misdirected talent, and all that’s left is a heart that beats solely for the music – music you can tell is handled as a craft. The lyrics are thoughtful and pensive. The delivery is clean and fluid, nearly flawless. And although their shows may be at times a little humorous, the music is certainly no joke. Something fresh and altogether attractive about their sound is the regular inclusion of their three-part harmonies on several of their songs… They’ve certainly caught the attention of some of the major players in the music biz.***†– Encore, Wilmington, NC ***
"...some serious live musical muscle."

"This noteworthy Atlanta pop-rock band has it all: young, handsome cats, inspired 3-part vocal harmonies, hypnotic guitar figures, and a strong sense of brainy arrangements."

"Sun Domingo, makes
Pop music in the grand tradition of the Fab Four, XTC, The Move and
Big Star, leaving the suits and gloss to the more trite bands ripping
off Fountains of Wayne.... There's no
gimmickry in the band's tight, mature approach, incorporating pristine three-part
harmonies, a mildly rootsy undertow and some unique, towering guitar solos into their
Power Pop mix. Flawless instrumental abilities and classically formatted
songwriting make the band's recorded work easily-digestible ear candy."
****CINCINNATTI CITY BEAT****
".... When a band cites The Beatles, Big Star and Crowded House as influences -- and the press draws further comparisons to XTC and The Move -- well, it's pretty much a guarantee that I'll listen to a few sound clips. The Atlanta band 'Sun Domingo' references are appropriate. More importantly, even as the band nails a sweet, trippy three-part harmony here and there, the music doesn't sound derivative."
*****COLUMBUS LEDGER-ENQUIRER*****
"This Atlanta band brags about tireless touring and electrifying live performances. Harmonies and inventive bridges create a sound straight from the early '70s, when pop was rock and vice versa."
****Macon Telegraph, Macon, GA****
"I have to admit I was a little envious of Sun Domingo the last time I saw the band play. They were tearing things up at a packed Peachtree Tavern in Atlanta, so much so that two uninhibited young ladies hopped on stage and started dirty dancing against each other and singer-bassist Jason Pomar."
****FLAGPOLE- Athens, GA *****
"Sun Domingo was a real treat. The focal point of the group was the lead singer/bassist with a voice that could give Sting a run for his money. He solidified that point by doing a dead-on cover of The Police's 'Roxanne.' The Outback crowd went nuts. I even got a little chill."
