About Me

I love books, music, film, and, art but have a disproportionate love of books. When I see a bookshelf full of great works covering various subjects I get the same sensation as looking at a sunset in Yosemite.I am very social and think conversation is why people should be with each other. I hate politics but get into it all the time (or talk about it anyways.). I think it is because a person can’t escape it. Politics to me is not the act of being political but being a free agent engaged in the world worth making better. Those who make peoples lives miserable should be put in a gulag, but only my kind, that doesn’t have torture. Let me add, if Robert Frost’s lines, “The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep,” give the reader goosebumps then I think we could chill.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Once again, I love to read and I love great conversation. I am into learning about other cultures and ideas. Poetry is also a hobby of mine. I dig T'ang Dynasty China, Spanish, Beat, Persian, and Arabic poetry. I study Arabic often. I have studied Farsi, German, a little Assyrian, Biblical Hebrew, Greek, and ASL. And I love nice sunsets.
