Hello my name is John Grant, most people know me by my punk name ..(JOCK STRAP) I am the lead singer with 70s punk band The Straps.I have decided to set this page up because, I often find myself wondering what ever happened to certain old friends that were involved with the Punk Rock movement back in the day-1976-early 1980s. Some of them died, some became submissive to pressure, put on a pin stripped suit and got a 9-5 job in the city. But hey we won't hold that against you punk!! Once a punk always a punk!!Some old punks are still kicking ass out there today.I am also nearing the completion of my autobiographical account of the time period mentioned above. so this general punk forum should be beneficial to both you and I. My aims here are to re-unite old punk friends, this can be done by ,you posting me some of your old friends pics and details etc. You can do this at [email protected] will add their photo to the gallery in my photo section and people will comment on who they are , where they are now etc.It is also essensial that all members of PRUK join the blog, as this is where all the discussions and stories will be posted.
