BRING MADELEINE HOME CAMPAIGN PLEASE ADD THIS WEB LINK TO YOUR MYSPACE SITE http://www.bringmadeleinehome.comIn 1977 during the UK Punk revolution Glasgow saw many different bands form such as Johnny & the self abusers (now Simple Minds),Shock, Fire Exit, The Zips, Backstabbers and DennisBoys The Stanklifters, DennisBoy then moved to London 1977 and worked in BOY Kings Road Punk shop also managed The Straps which he still does to this day, DennisBoy has spent a lot of time in the company of The Sex Pistols, Ramones, Dead Boys, Clash, PIL and many more.In 2005 after meeting Gerry Attrick from Fire Exit DennisBoy decided to reform the old band under the new name of The Provoked Stanklifters in response to serious political issues that he felt needed to be addressed and challenged in the UK. Ailsa walked into the band by accident and became the vocalist, the other guys were pulled of the streets and The Provoked Stanklifters were born again.
