About Me

After last year's slow tour of Ireland doin POetry My Arse as one half of a duo called Ivory Cutlery along with the wonderful Poetry Chicks.....This year's revelation is a show called Blasphemy...Me, Mr, Connor Kelly, The Poetry Chicks and Mr.John O'Neill will be bringing this madness to your doorstep...soon! ..bring your sacred cows with you..we'll be slaughtering them in front of your eyes...Frank Rafferty was the first and only Scottish Cosmonaut becoming famous for his slogan "Outer Space through Inner Space!" Frank later fell under the influence of Ivor Cutler whilst performing in Glaswegian show bands and bop combos alongside other locally nefarious beat poets including the Reverend D. Wayne Love of the first Presleyterian Church of Elvis the Divine, After a spell in Hong Kong as one half of the infamous country duo the Kowloon Twins he returned to these shores, (well England). After a tortuous route through Academia, Adult Education and the wilder shores of Community Development he fell in with his current associates whilst performing at the 40th anniversary of something or other. His published works include The Architecture of Madness and the critically slaughtered The Sexual Mores Of Politicians and other Fascinating Facts about Fascists. He currently resides near Derry and is mesmerised by meat......................................."Originally from Glasgow I moved to Derry in early'99 via many years in London, Manchester (mainly Manchester)and elsewhere. I am a community development worker and also do some freelance work. To all those who matter most(Eoin, Emer, Debbie, Carol, Lorraine, Rachael, Megan, Ciara, Sean, John, Graham, Martin, Mum, David, Sheila, William Francis, Aunt Isobel, Sue, Paul, Sam, Joe, Mark, Reggi, Kath, Paul and the rest o' ye ) and to all my other friends (you all know who you are) A huge hug and loads of kisses. I am happy as Larry or as a pig in shit (most of the time). Follower of Glasgow Celtic, Derry City F.C. and Scotland. I do not suffer fools gladly (particularly if they happen to be my boss(es)). I Dislike anyone who still believes stories told by middlemen about non-existent sky gods and those story-tellers too - particularly if they employ such stories to disguise the true nature of the agenda they are really trying to slip past the gullible. I also dislike all forms of new age quackery which passes for alternative medicine. I am interested in a politics and change which comes from grassroots community level and prevents small cliques of people, (usually affiliated to political parties or government) from curtailing and controlling genuine community development, ownership and growth."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Your god - and kick him/her/it about a little; firstly for all the grevious errors in his/her/it's creation but mainly for disproving the certainty of my anti-theism. But it isn't going to happen so other than that I'd like to meet someone who could convince the great mass of people not to vote anymore as it only enables the lying, conniving, lickspittles -politicians to you and me - who rule us on behalf of corporations, to continue to sell us the lie that they can make a difference and that the world can still become a better place under capitalism. Make your own decisions and demand the impossible!I'd also like to meet....friends and family who have gone: Jill Partridge, Billy Buchan, Nigel Bullen, Michael Connolly, Paul King, Dave Willoughby, Stuart Steele, Robert Forrester, Lee Hessel, Carol Creamer, Rhonda Leck, Michelle Dartley, Billy Cord, Dick Mooney and most of all my dad Frank Rafferty who died on 12th January 2007 at 2.40a.m. (see what i said at my dad's service in my blog) But wanting something to happen and it happening? Ah well! there's a thing.....
