Crass.vs.MySpaceThis is a track called, "Bata Motel" from the album, Penis Envy. Released in 1981, this was the third LP by anarchist punk band Crass. Named as a reference to some of Freud's ideas concerning sexuality. The album addressed feminist issues and once again attacked the institutions of 'the system' such as marriage and sexual repression. The photograph's compiled in this video were downloaded off of the World Wide Web, and serve two examples. One being, young women are still perpetuating their own repression by giving in to the sexual pressure ever-present in a male dominated society. The second being, a person loses all right to protest as soon as they make a personal image public on the World Wide Web.
