About Me

* * .. .. Transformers Generation One Personality Test..
You are Hot Rod. You are an all around good person. You follow rules until they get on your nerves, then you throw out the rule book and start shooting. You tend to act first and that sometimes gets you into trouble, but you've got it under control. You have this incredible need to do what you think is right. When you find yourself in charge, you are rather uncomfortable, but you have the savvy to get the job done. Rock on with your hot-headed self.

I'm 29 years old and I've spent my whole life in Connecticut (though according to the "How Connecticut are you" survey I'm only 48% CT)... that may change when I get kicked out of the house in April. I'm currently employed as a cellular phone salesman for a large retailer (too ashamed to name it)- but I also am a professional musician as bassist for local rock/cover band "Unprepared". In fact, I'd have to say music is my life. Even though most of my idols and role models are standup comics or comedic actors, music is in my blood thanks to my father who is a phenomenal keyboardist and songwriter in his own right- from an early age, he exposed me to a huge variety of music. He has a 1500+piece vinyl collection spanning everything from The Beatles & Rolling Stones to Hank Williams, Sr. to Judas Priest to Earth Wind & Fire to Beethoven and everything inbetween- yet he also warned me since childhood to stay away from the music industry- Problem is, I can't help it... Anyhoo, one thing I have to mention is my extreme fandom for Tonight Show host Jay Leno- I probably wouldn't even be working now if I hadn't read his book. I owe a lot of my current optimism to him. Admittedly, I've toned it down a bit since say 5 years ago... but I still consider myself his biggest fan.Finally, here's a dumb survey I took, for those who are curious...

Paul Schaeffer’s blueprint for the end of life as we know it

So I heard "It's Raining Men" at work today, and it got me to thinking... how much would it suck if that really happened?  As in, one day people woke up to find dudes just falling out of the sky....
