My name is laci was Brandy, I am a guard dog still need lots of training. My mommy is still trying to find out if I am West German/Import/Hungarian lines or European lines. I am growing bigger every day. I was born 09/18/06.. I did have an earlier litter by Tango with 11pups all doing fine(most spayed & neutered). I will have a litter once a year if mom says so until I reach the age of 5. I love water I will retrieve my toys from pool, love car rides, love walks, love kids, love other doggies as long as they show a playful sign, love my mommy & her family, love attention, love to play. I have good ball drive, I can jump 5ft fences. I want to have lots of doggie friends. I am upset my Ex-Boyfriend is now in a German Shepherd Rescue due to some mix communication from a family member of my moms.I am looking for a new Boyfriend again. Mandatory spay/neuter is an ineffective solution to animal control problems because it fails to address the heart of the issue—irresponsible ownership. Mandatory spay/neuter laws are extremely difficult to enforce and can be evaded by irresponsible animal owners by not licensing their pets. More regulations increase the workload of already financially strained animal control offices, making it even more difficult for them to perform their duties.MANDATORY SPAY/NEUTER PROPOSALS ARE UNFAIR TO RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERS AND BREEDERS
Responsible owners should be allowed to use their own discretion in determining whether to alter their animals. Spay/neuter requirements target all owners regardless of their actions. Spay/neuter requirements would restrict the many responsible breeders who raise and breed purebred dogs for the purpose of showing. These breeders make a serious commitment to their animals with the intention of promoting the sport of purebred dogs and improving the individual breeds. Spaying and neutering is a surgical procedure that may not be right for all animals. A licensed veterinarian should perform these procedures only after consultation with and a thorough examination.A BETTER SOLUTION IS AVAILABLE
Strongly enforced animal control laws (such as leash laws), and increased public education efforts are better ways to address the issue of irresponsible dog ownership. ......If you do not plan on breeding for right reasons then Neuter and Spay your pets. If you are those who like to breed every heat cycle please don't do that. It harms your dog and their health (sometimes causes unwanted puppies and when female or male dogs are in no use for them, they end up throwing these wonderful dogs in the pound or they get rid of them after they lived there for many years, its wrong, unless you don't have the financial or need to cut back on some dogs into retirement homes It all depends on the situation of the dog). Please if you do notice a lot of puppies or dogs in small cages in someones lot please report it to animal or cop authorities in case it is a puppy mill. We need help to shut them down.
