About Me

Pat Thornton is a miracle in many ways...ever heard of the miracle of birth...well Pat Thornton was totally born- something to think about. Born in Kingston Ontario and raised in Mississauga, Pat now resides in Toronto where he works very hard (but makes it look so easy) at making people laugh in many ways. An accomplished stand-up (nominated for the 2005 Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award- for which he appeared on the Cream of Comedy Special on the Comedy Network and more recently on the LOL special for MuchMusic) he also performs regularily with his sketch troupe, The Sketchersons in their show Sunday Night Live (Sundays 9 o'clock at the Brunswick house). Also an actor, he can be seen in some random commercials- if you happen to live in Kentucky he can be currently seen in both a Kentucky Lottery commercial and a commercial for a music compilation called Redneck Country- pretty awesome huh- he can also be seen on some tv shows- a couple episodes of Monster Warriors (YTV) his shoulder can be seen in the background of one sketch in season 4 of Comedy Inc. (CTV, Comedy Network) and as a series regular on a show called PUNCHED UP- coming to the Comedy Network this fall.

My Interests

I love making people laugh, I love to dance (I am an amazing dancer- not to hot with choreography, but freestyle-DAMN!) I like stock footage of dogs riding horses, I love blowing bubbles, I love eating spaghetti and many different types of sandwiches, I love recording tv with my personal video recorder and then fast forwarding through all the commercials, I love cartoons- preferably superhero cartoons, I like speaking in funny voices, I love pictures of cheetahs etc. etc.
