About Me
Todd Simon is a recent graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music. He holds a Bachelor's of Music degree specializing in Jazz Piano Performance. He studied piano and organ with Tim Murphy for 4 years and soprano/alto/tenor/baritone saxophones with Gary Thomas for 2 years. An active performer principally in the Baltimore area, Todd has also played various venues in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Harrisburg), Virginia (Richmond, Newport News, Charlottesville, Arlington), Delaware (Wilmington, Dover, Lewes), and Michigan (Frankenmuth). He has played in Peabody concerts alongside Conrad Herwig, Sam Rivers, David Sanchez, Ingrid Jensen, George Garzone, Rufus Reid, and Dave Samuels. Todd has also performed professionally with Gary Thomas, Tim Murphy, Dontae Winslow, Mike Hawkins, and the Rumba Club. His composition, "McCoy's Mode," was performed by the Peabody Lab Band in their Spring 2007 concert. Originally from Dover, DE, he currently resides in Baltimore.
