About Me

This multi-instrumentalist is best known for his distinctive sound as a sideman and session player for many of the best jazz ensembles on the East Coast. Paul has worked and shared the stage with jazz greats like Jimmy McGriff, Freddie Hubbard, Jon Faddis, Dennis Chambers, George Mesterhazy, Royce Campbell, and Latin luminaries like the late great Tito Puente, Giovanni Hidalgo, Andy Gonzalez and Nestor Torrez. In addition to being a featured soloist on all four of the band's CD's and all of their performances, Paul has contributed arrangements to the RUMBA CLUB repertoire as well (Wayne Shorter's 'Infant Eyes' on the 1999 release 'Espiritista'). Paul's graceful and distinctive alto sax sound has graced all four of Rumba Club's recordings. His flute and tenor saxophone have long been a feature of the band's live performances as well, and both instruments are featured extensively on RADIO MUNDO, the band's most recent recording.
