Formed in the fall of 2001, as a way to find some healing from the tradgedies of the city, the trio came together to play music and a deep connection was made. The band has been recording and performing since then - regulars to such NYC jazz mainstays as The 55 Bar, The Zinc Bar, Smoke, and Detour - the band has developed into a dynamic and powerful unit.The band performs the compositions of Bailey, who is prolific. The trio's third release (Bailey's 5th) will be out in the Fall of 2006: "Live @ the Fat Cat" is a document of the exhilarating live shows this band continually pumps out.
