Randy Gentile is the writer and artist of the LazyComix line of comic strips. Strips that include NYComix, Randall and LazyComix Presents. George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Quinten Tarantino, Robert Rodriquez, Martin Scorsese, Stanly Kubrick, Yimou Zhang.Jean Shepherd, Michael Chabon, Harvey Pekar, R. Crumb, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, John Romita Sr., Frank Miller.John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk.

Music:

Coltrane, Monk, Soulive, Herbie Hancock other jazz, but I don't listen too much music, honestly

Movies:

Star Wars including the Prequels! Every damn thing Quenten Tarantino puts on film. Scorsese: Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Casino. Older Spielberg stuff like Jaws, ET, Close Encounters, Indiana Jones flicks. Robert Rodriquez's "El Mariach Trilogy". Old 70's/early 80's horror. John Hughes: Uncle Buck, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Ferris Bueller, Breakfast Club and especially 16 Candles. High Fedelity and other Cusak movies. The Crumb Documentary is one of my go-to inspiration flicks. Se7en and Silence of the Lambs. All the classic movies from the 1970's. And the best movie I've seen recently is Yimou Zhang's: House of Flying Daggers... along with Hero and To Live he shot up the list of my To-Watch directors. I can go on and on so I'll stop.

Television:

Not a heck of a lot but House, Project Runway, The L Word, Sopranos, Howard TV and Real Time with Bill Maher.

Books:

Robin Hood by Howard Pyle, In God We Trust All Others Pay Cash along with all the other books written by Jean Shepherd. Any books dealing with Italian Organized Crime. Ladies and Gentlemen the Bronx is Burning.
