Graduated from college the first time with no direction and no idea; the second time has been entirely different. I finally figured out what I want to be as a grown up, but I'm not sure if that means I must completely grow up. I've recently learned a lot of disturbing things about our government.The information was always out there, I just didn't care enough to spend the time looking for myself. I've opened my eyes about the "State of the Union" and realized that if we don't stand up for our civil liberties now, they won't be there to take back in the future.

Don't take anyone else's ideas and adopt them as your own until you do your own research. Decide what you believe the truth to be based on more than one reporter's last minute headline. The current administration has been caught lying many times. Why do we still believe anything they say? When does it ever make sense to go to a liar to get the truth? We have blindly believed in the morals and good intentions of our government for too long and it has led to a government that is out of control with power.
Look for the truth - we have been sheep for too long, but be warned that the truth is ugly, uncomfortable, insane, and addictive. Reflect on the warm, fuzzy feeling of being an American before you jump into the hole - it's the last time you will feel that way unless we do something now.
