Before you say anything, just ask yourself one simple question:
If you had been in the room with Cho, would you have been safer WITH a gun, or without one? (HINT: None of the dead victims had a gun -- only the mass-murderer had one, even though he wasn't "supposed" to).
I want college campuses to be safe for all, so I consider a few common sense points:
1. Killers laugh at "no guns allowed" signs.
2. Criminals take their guns wherever they like -- good citizens should be allowed to do the same.
3. Criminals LOVE gun control laws -- they want their victims to be defenseless.
So don't be a sucker. Get a gun.
SUPPORT THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST ARMED CRIMINALS! Sign the petition .

Q: IF EVERYONE HAS A GUN, WON'T EVERYBODY START SHOOTING EVERYBODY WHEN THEY GET TICKED OFF?
A: No. Only a very few psychopaths behave that way, and they're trouble whether they have guns or not. Licensed citizens don't behave that way. Remember: NO ONE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE GUNS ON VA TECH CAMPUS. But Cho had them anyway, and the defenseless victims are now dead. A single armed student could have saved their lives.
Q: AREN'T GUNS EVIL?
A: No. The propensity for evil is in the man, not the gun. Guns are inanimate objects, like stones and hammers. My husband has several guns and they have never done anything on their own, whether good or bad.
Q: WON'T WE BE SAFER IF THERE ARE NO GUNS? A: VA Tech was a "gun free zone." The 30+ victims are all dead because they didn't have a gun. Hypothetically, if you actually eliminated all guns, then you wouldn't get shot, but nothing would stop evil men from killing you in other ways. People were murdering people long before there were guns. You need a gun to protect yourself from killers.
Q: WON'T STUDENTS BE SAFER IF WE BAN GUNS ON CAMPUS? A: Ask the victims at VA Tech. Now talk to all the students at the University of Utah, where students are allowed to carry on campus.
