I'd like to meet:
It is a place we have all been before. A place where sinners and saints – armed only with their secrets – still struggle. A place that steals all our certainty and leaves us with only one question: What Is Shroud?
Sodom. Gomorrah. Babylon: cities of wrath and wickedness, each hiding a secret more sinister than the last. They lie beyond reconciliation or redemption, for they no longer shrink from their sins but rather celebrate them.
Shroud is such a town. Abandoned to the dry winds and desert of The Arizona Territory, the town’s dark secret is guarded by those few outcasts that survive there, a renegade posse of confederate defectors, their brutal leader, and the mysterious mayor they all serve in silence.
Surrounded by the superstitious Apache, Shroud is lost to the 500-year old sin that haunts its hills. It is a sin so dark that it can neither forgotten nor forgiven. It must be confronted. For what died in Shroud still lives there.
